Almac believes in supporting education to enrich the minds of future engineers. We partnered up with Ryerson Formula Racing (RFR) to assist them in building an F1 style race car. We provided them with laser cut parts of various shapes, sizes and materials. With our versatile technology and quick turnaround, RFR has been able to manufacture many parts including the gas tank, suspension tabs, electrical panels and wing mounts. One of the major projects Almac contributed to was jigging the frame. We provided accurate jigs that allowed the team to assembly the chassis tubes according to their 3D geometry. This made welding the frame a breeze. We are excited to continue our support and help this team reach their goals.
